Description

Matrix-Body Durability & Cutter Geometry Unlike steel-body bits, the Mauldon D-PDC950-MX Drill Bit is cast from a tungsten carbide matrix, offering superior resistance to the high-velocity “sandblasting” effect of abrasive cuttings. The bit features a 5-blade profile with a medium-set cutter density, striking the perfect balance between aggressive cutting and structural longevity.

Mauldon-Force Diamond Technology Each cutter is manufactured using a high-pressure, high-temperature (HPHT) process to bond a premium diamond layer to a tungsten carbide substrate. The cutters are oriented with a specific back-rake angle to optimize shearing efficiency in hard rock. Combined with our “Z-Stream” interchangeable nozzles, the bit ensures that the face is continuously cleared of debris, preventing “balling” and heat-related diamond degradation.
